It has been my belief that the cold war was essentially a conflict between the ideology of the secular socialists on the one hand and the beliefs of the christian capitalists on the other. From what I have seen, I have to doubt that the proclaimed winners, the so called christian conservative freedom loving people of the United States really did win it. When I look at America, I see a liberalized, secularized, and centralized state. I see liberals trying to free animals into the wild while creating a zoo like state for foolish, fearful, and faithless people. I smell a lot of rats that look suspiciously like sheep.

Whenever I think about my own education and reflect about the millions of so called Christians sending off their children to secular schools to be insulted, assaulted, and indoctrinated by Bible hating liberal atheists, libertarians, and the secular pluralistic religious, I am disgusted. Schools that were founded for and taught the Bible and christian religious principles now reject both. I am not so much concerned about things such as prayer in the schools; although, it would be nice if all valid forms of speech were treated equally, but I am concerned about truth: truth about the religious history and roots of our nation and about what science really knows and does not know. It would be a welcome return to have, at the least, equal access to ideas and treatment. Conservative religious people should not be second class citizens who have to leave their views at the curb to which we seem to have let ourselves be kicked as students, teachers, administrators, suppliers of educational materials, lawmakers, etc, etc. Christian conservatives have handed over their rights to and now have capitulated to the dictates of the secularists. The speed of secularization could have been slowed if the conservatives had demanded that liberal judges were impeached and thrown out of office, but the rise of liberal media would eventually accomplish the task anyway by feeding the masses a steady diet of distraction, deception, and sin. It would be a welcome return to have the same rights which we have afforded the secularists. I guess I should have asked if slavery ended or is on its way back because so many have let themselves be cowed into compliance and complacency because of a lack or loss of conviction. Whenever a people fear suffering, loss, and death more than sin, lies, and bondage, then the end is inevitable. Morality, truth, and freedom die in the heart of the people and tyranny fascinates long before the obvious outward institutional manifestations occur. The end starts with faint and undisciplined hearts and minds. Like Israel did, America has turned to the gods of this world and all its philosophy, pseudoscience, and false religion to find safety, meaning, and friendship. Many of those who have rejected God have even graven their own private little worldviews.

While it is true that even a religious education cannot guarantee that people will learn to value human life more than animals or think that unborn children are more than just parasites, it will certainly make them more aware of the moral and spiritual implications of what they are doing and more reasonable towards those who value life at all stages. Perhaps, assuming there is one, the moral influence may even work the other way if living separate lives will not be honored. Of course, neither will it guarantee that those who do think more of life will actually do something to prove their said conviction. There is plenty of hypocrisy going around these days both by those who should know better on the one hand and by those who also know better but choose rather to attack those who should which makes them doubly hypocritical.

While the christian conservatives have lost the strength of their convictions and seldom even know what or why they are who they say they are, the secularists are more than willing to force their opinions down the throats of everyone else especially when their opponents are so easily made to conform to their desires and not to Christ's image. If it wasn't so sad, it would be amusing to hear secularists, religious liberals, and libertarians condemn pro-life Christians because it is so clear that they know the truth but refuse to acknowledge it. Although they may deny it, they have their own standards of justice, but God's is much higher. Before God's holiness, they stand condemned; they are the parasites taking from God's creation, poaching from His Kingdom. They have never made a single thing nor are they thankful or grateful to God for what He has given them: the world, their lives and loves, their continued life despite their uselessness and unwillingness to acknowledge Him, and salvation. When God comes to establish His Kingdom on Earth, there will be no place for those who live by arrogance, pride, self-righteousness, violence, and vengeance. Only those who practice faith, hope, love, humility, and peace will be tolerated in God's Kingdom; only those who let the love of Christ constrain and control them will be fit for the Kingdom. Outside are the proud, the arrogant, liars, hypocrites, destroyers, killers, and everyone who does not want God to rule over them in this present age. Only the godly will be selected even from those who are caught in the Kingdom net. When God drains the lake, every vile thing will be destroyed and cast into the fire, then He will refill the lake with the clean and good fish.

Everyone will reap what he has sown, and only a Holy, all knowing, and merciful God has the right and authority to condemn those who have effectively condemned themselves. As you live and by the measure you mete out to others, you will be judged. Those who use the means of evil, who are self-righteous, and who are unmerciful will be judged by their own standards. The negligent, indifferent, and hateful will find themselves lost and forgotten. If the world and all the people in it are from one source, then there is no reason to be partial to any person or race. God is not partial; He has given freely to all. It was Early Christianity not evolution which taught the world that it is truth and love and not wisdom and power that makes one fit for life. Morality and mercy are not evolutionary concepts; they are religious ones. Amorality and/or ethical relativism is the principle of evolution. It is odd that secularists in general want to treat animals the same as people, but I think that desire is just a misguided religiosity and not based on the laissez faire evolutionary principle of survival of the fittest which makes anything acceptable so long as it promotes the singular genetic line even at the expense of the other ones. Ironically, it is the capitalists who have adopted the laissez faire libertarian philosophy in economics; although, I am not sure how that model fits the Biblical mandates of both the Old Testament call to celebrate a jubilee love towords one's brothers or fellow citizens and the New Testament call to sell all and give to the poor.

It takes faith to let God do all the avenging. It takes faith to forgive as God has forgiven you, but the world has never solved its problems nor risen above its pettiness. The ways and means of the world have not worked because they are contradictory to its aims and ends. Lust, hate, partiality, force, violence, and even isolation have never brought about peace, security, or justice. On Earth there isn't perfect justice, safety, or peace. There is only true justice with God. There is only safety in Heaven, and there is only peace with the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, the Savior and King for all who will accept His salvation by faith and His Kingship by obedience to His teachings and example or lifestyle of love, grace, and truth. True religion is: to care for and respect everyone, to have mercy and forgive everyone as God has forgiven you in Christ, and to always speak the truth in and out of season.

The promise of God to you in Christ is that if you will lose your life for Him you will gain it. If you sacrifice your life for His, if you suffer with Him, and if you serve Him alone, then you will live. The weighty matters of the Law are justice, mercy, and faith. If you practice the justice Jesus has demonstrated towards you, if you will be merciful as He has been to you, and if you will have faith enough to actually do so, then such a godly life will have a just reward. God reveals faith to every living thing by the Gospel, and those who seek God shall find Him as their manifest reward. From faith to faith, the just will live and act by faith, but woe to those who know the first stage of faith, the knowing but fail to strive according to the doing for the wages of sin is death. In the day that the sinner repents, he shall be saved, but in the day that the righteous sins, he shall die. God is equal; God is just. God has His purpose and ways to establish who are His. His plans focus on eternity; ours on the world, but when we are willing to give up the world by giving up ourselves to Him, then and only then will He become our world, our truth, our life.

The Kingdom of God is coming. If you are not on His side now, you will be cast out into outer darkness. You who claim that you "fear nothing," who say, "so be it, I don't believe it," you will learn to fear God now, or you will learn what true fear is really all about.  You who think you know everything that there is to know, you will know too late if you do not repent now. You who think that the hell you have experienced on Earth will justify your ignorance will find out what Hell is all about if you do not repent now. You who say, "no one tells me what to do or what to think," you will know what true regret is all about. You who choose to think that life is pointless, prepare for the endless wasted life in eternal torment that you have chosen for yourself.

You who fancy yourselves as gamblers take Pascal's wager. Only a fool would gamble on a sick, temporal world. Only a fool would gamble on there being no afterlife when there is supposedly no reason for there being this one either. Is it such a stretch to say that if there is one world, then there is a good chance that there is another one? The atheist says that there are probably billions of planets out there with life on them with no other proof than that here on this world there is life. Who is to say that there is no life beyond what we can see as there have always been worlds beyond what we can see until we do see them? It would be better to be a fool for Christ and live the greatest adventure, a life sacrificed for love than to live a mean, petty, and purposeless life headed to the grave as a pointless existence.

To those of you who say all religions are the same, I say that the world is real; the resurrection is a return to a physical world and not to an imaginary fairytale existence nor an oblivion of mindless bliss. We are not all god or gods, and the world is not god. You and I are not gods. We neither made nor control the world or each other except through physical force and words which persuade or deceive. Love does not kill its fellow man in order to gain a glorified hedonistic after world in which what is denied here on Earth is somehow made acceptable up there in some sort of glorified carnality. Cynicism towards truth is based on a selfish desire for inconsequential sex as well as other pleasures which you mistakenly take for love and the good life.

True love is not selfish or partial. True love does the works of love; it make sacrifices; it suffers loss, and it risks suffering and loss as well as rejection. Love does not force itself on anyone nor does it control anyone for its own selfish purposes. Love does not exceed in words what it does in practice. Love does not judge others for what it would permit itself. Love is not cynical; it hopes and believes all good things, but it despises all evil. Love casts out fear including the fear of being wrong and making mistakes. There is no knowledge which makes love obsolete or which shows it to be foolish. Love would die even for its enemies. Love is patient; love is kind; it does not boast, and it does not belittle, but it will wound for the right reasons. Love instructs and reproves; it is light, and it is salt. Love is rooted in loving; it radiates in practice, and warms others by deeds. Love is infectious like laughter. Love overlooks slights against it, turns the other cheek, and puts away all weapons: it does not carry anything nor say anything whereby it may intentionally harm another. Love does not seek only its own need; it shares what it has. It cannot be defeated, and it will never end, but it will let go, and it will drive out what is evil. Justice, love, and truth are the three pillars of holiness. Love is what makes life meaningful; it is one of the four aspects of man without which he cannot truly live. There is no greater love than the love of Jesus and the love He taught us. Love is responsible and self-controlled. Love is synergistic and symbiotic. Love is life affirming, and reproduces itself.

What more can I say? If love does not induce you to repentance; if God's sacrificial love for you does not motivate you to repent, then there must not be any true love in you. You are dead and beyond any true feeling. Your mind is caught up in the intellectual, indicative, and ostensible. Though you acknowledge your ignorance and your faults; you will not truly acknowledge that you are in the wrong or could be in the wrong concerning your overall worldview and attitudes. God will in no wise clear the guilty. Those with faith love, and those who love practice justice for the just will live by faith. No one is more guilty than the one who knows the truth and does not do it, who knows Jesus but does not obey Him; God will blot out such a man along with the rest of the sinners, the disobedient. The scared as well as the callused (the carnal who have believed and the natural who refuse to believe) who justify their neglect, hate, indifference, apathy, arrogance, pride, and disobedience to God's love and justice will reap what they have sown. However, those who sincerely strive to do His will, even if they fail, will be saved. All true believers are builders, and to such as do what Christ taught to the best of their ability, God is merciful. Mediocrity of worldly results will be examined, but mediocrity of effort and spiritual results will be condemned as Esau's negligence was. Fools and liars alike hear and know, but they will not do, they will not act according to their wisdom, and so, even what they have will be taken away and given to others who do obey, who do God's will, who live godly and separate lives to His glory. Be diligent, and do not despise God.

I am not talking about all the talking heads or all the meaningless chatter and repetition of news. The thought came to me last night that perhaps every effort at unity ends up in confusion when God is left out of the picture. America does seem to be more divided than ever, and it seems more balkanized than ever. Even our language is being divided. I certainly hope we are not changing from a shining city on a hill to a shameful city on a ziggurat; then again, perhaps, we never were truly a city on a hill. Perhaps, all we are is one more attempt by men to replace God's word with a constitution the way Israel replaced God with a king. It has been said that, when "the voice of the people" becomes "the voice of God," you can kiss freedom, justice, and morality goodbye. When the voice of the people becomes king, you can be sure that tyranny will follow because a corrupt society will invariably put a king over itself who will, ironically, do the will of the people. In the name of safety and security, love and tolerance, compassion and human rights, the people's king will do what every tyrant has done but this time with the loving consent of the mob, the mass of self-absorbed, self-centered, self-righteous fools who neither know or love God, and therefore, can do to others unspeakable cruelty by negligence, neglect, and deliberate acts in the name of the social good, humanity at large, or in the name of God. Just think of the tender mercies Stalin, Mao, and Hitler gave humanity's greater good. Notice how godless Moslem countries vote for tyranny as soon as they get the chance, and 'voila,' the miracle of the innate goodness of man is manifested. Notice how South African apartheid was demonized, but the persecution, torture, and murder that goes on in all the godless Moslem and Communist countries is ignored. Liberals want Israel to quit practicing racism and treating godless Moslems as second class citizens, but they are blind to the fact that all the Jews have been systematically forced out and killed in these godless nations; Christians are treated as no class citizens and worse. And, now, in America, the very people who founded this country are being treated as second class citizens. They are being told that their beliefs are offensive or hateful. They have no place in school or government. Christians are being told they need not apply all in the name of love, unity, and tolerance. Oh please, gag me in the name of fairness! Soon, true Christians, not the blind fools like Barak and Clenton, will be no class citizens or worse made illegal. Truly, as in the Civil (how ironic) War, brother will turn against brother and father against son in the name of God, goodness, and unity. Our history has been deleted and rewritten by godless liberals. The obvious has been made its opposite by deliberate calculated effort to undermine truth and morals so that the least common denominator can prevail. Socialism and liberalism have taught the masses that you need not work hard, act respectful, or do the right thing because government will guarantee your safety, security, and welfare. God help us when the good get tired of carrying the burden and weight of stupid lazy sinners. All Hell will breakout when these fools no longer can get their way. The breakdown of society is just the foretaste of what is to come. Soon, if it is not already true, the only freedom that counts is the freedom to sin - bondage to sin is the freedom liberalism seeks. God is patient, but God will not and has not procrastinated; He is giving us a chance to repent, but I doubt that liberals will give repentance a chance. We are a proud, stubborn, and stiff-necked people, and so, we have been judged already. The name we make for ourselves and the tower we build in the name of humanity will fall down, and, how far, it will fall.

Mr. Powell, your choice for president thinks that you either lied about weapons of mass destruction or were duped by the administration for which you worked; so, how can anyone trust your judgment? Your are a liar or a dupe in the eyes of democrats and a backstabber to the republicans. Either you were too cowardly to be disloyal back when you were in the Bush administration or you are too cowardly to remain loyal now. Your true colors are showing. I always knew that a pro-abort like you would eventually side with the godless liberals. I believed that there is no such thing as a pro-abort Christian. It was only a matter of time before like would join like. Wear your millstones with pride because we all know just how much you care about life. Oh God, why do I have to live in a nation of godless fools and illegitimate liars? Why do I have to live in a nation of idolaters that sacrifice children to the god of mammon, success, and happiness?
